Lus Health was the brainchild of René and started operating in March 2019 as Lus Health Ingredients. With a personal passion for health and sustainability, starting a plant-based ingredients company made complete sense. Our company name, Lus, was chosen carefully and stands for sustainable & plant-based. Coming from both the old Gaelic word for plant (or herb) as well as the Dutch word for loop.
Over the past years, the company has grown substantially with a clear focus on delivering customers with added-value Private Label products, every time using Lus Health’s unique ingredients as the foundation. Due to this focus, it was decided to drop the word ingredients and continue simply as Lus Health.
